AI Infrastructure Index Methodology

The InvestorLens AI Infrastructure Index is a proprietary composite score (0–100) tracking the health and momentum of the AI datacenter supply chain as reflected in public filing data.

It is an educational indicator only — not a financial index, not investable, and not a recommendation.

Index Score Calculation

The index score is the weighted average of all 20 tracked companies' Theme Scores, weighted by each company's individual theme score.

Index = Weighted average of Theme Scores across all 20 companies

Theme Score Components

Each company's Theme Score is a weighted composite of four sub-scores:

Institutional Score (35%)

Derived from InvestorLens's 13F database:

• Investor count: Number of tracked investors currently holding the stock (50% weight)
• Position value: Total reported market value across tracked investors (30% weight)
• Net direction: Whether recent changes skew toward accumulation or reduction (20% weight)

Momentum Score (20%)

Derived from recent holding changes:

• NEW positions score 3x
• INCREASED positions score 1.5x
• REDUCED positions score -1.5x
• SOLD OUT positions score -3x
• Changes within 90 days receive full weight; older changes receive 50% weight

Billionaire Score (20%)

Derived from holdings data for tracked high-profile investors. Computed as a blend of institutional score with a momentum adjustment.

Insider Score (25%)

Currently computed as a proxy using recent accumulation activity. Will be replaced with real SEC Form 4 data in a future update.

Sentiment Classification

Update Schedule

• Scores recalculate daily at 9am
• The index snapshot is written to the database each day
• 90-day trend is built from daily snapshots
